Another Cossack society was illegally registered in the temporarily occupied left-bank area of the Kherson region.

The Khutor Cossack Society named after Guards Senior Sergeant Serhiy Babenko was registered on September 22 in the village of Preobrazhenka of the Myrne community in Skadovskyi district.
The society’s main type of activity is listed as “activities of public organizations”, and additionally there are KVED codes concerning vegetable cultivation, breeding of horses and donkeys, protection of monuments and even organizing weddings.
The society was headed by Ihor Sahadin. In occupation media he is called the otaman of the khutor society of the so‑called Kalanchak municipal district.
The society’s founders are listed as 14 people, among whom are Russian citizens who are or were engaged in business there.
Earlier we wrote that on the left-bank of the Kherson region the occupiers began the process of creating the so-called “Cossack classes”. The first of them was opened on September 1, 2025 at Henichesk School No. 3.
