In the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region, during the period of the fire-prevention regime, the largest number of fires were recorded in the Chulakivske, Holoprystanske and Rybalchenske forest districts.
This was reported by the occupation Ministry of Natural Resources, Ecology and Fisheries of Kherson region.
According to the occupation authority, 180 forest fires were registered, and the total area of burning amounted to 2,590 hectares.
Note that, as of the beginning of October 2025, the total amount of damage to objects of the nature reserve fund, caused by hostilities on the territory of Kherson region, exceeds UAH 782 billion.
We also wrote that, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in Kherson region the losses caused by the consequences of the war exceeded UAH 146 billion.
Recall, in September a forest burned in the Holoprystaska community in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region, the fire affected more than 24 hectares of forest.
