A Russian citizen, Veronika Velmamedova, was eliminated on the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson Oblast; she was part of the Russian “pedagogical detachment” and worked with children in occupied settlements.
This was reported by pro-Russian Telegram channels.
Velmamedova arrived in the region in 2023 as a “volunteer” as part of the so-called pedagogical detachment. She worked as a teacher in the village of Zalizny Port in the temporarily occupied part of Kherson region.
After the completion of the so-called mission, the woman remained there to live and work. Before that she had been in Mariupol, and later in Kherson region, where she taught younger classes and held drawing and music lessons.
It is noted that she was a student and specifically took academic leave to participate in “volunteer” trips.
Earlier it was reported that on the Kherson front a Russian colonel was eliminated, who has been fighting in Ukraine since 2014.
