78.8 million UAH will be allocated from the Kherson region budget for social protection in 2026.
This is stated in the order of the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, which approved the budget for the next year.
UAH 889 thousand will be directed to providing stationary care social services with accommodation for children with physical and intellectual disabilities, UAH 4 million – to providing rehabilitation services to persons with disabilities and children with disabilities.
Another UAH 3.5 million is planned for carrying out social work and providing social services by social service centers and centers for providing social services to individuals/families who belong to vulnerable population groups and/or are in difficult life circumstances.
Nearly UAH 52 million is allocated in the budget for other measures in the field of social protection and social security.
For reference, the volume of the Kherson region’s regional budget for 2026 has been set at about UAH 1.5 billion.
