Four children have been returned to territory under Ukrainian control. They are between 12 and 17 years old.
This was reported on social media by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
Among those evacuated — a 12-year-old girl whose home was searched by Russian servicemen after a report alleging the storage of a Ukrainian flag. The occupiers tried to determine whether the family supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
At present, all those rescued are safe and are receiving necessary psychological and social assistance.
The return took place with the assistance of the charity “Save Ukraine” as part of the President of Ukraine’s Bring Kids Back UA initiative.
