On the temporarily occupied left bank of Kherson region, two women were detained, whom Russian investigators suspect of “state treason”.
This was reported by media controlled by the occupying authorities.
According to the Russian FSB, the detained women, born in 1970 and 1983, allegedly collected information about the locations of Russian military personnel and law enforcement officers and transmitted it to Ukrainian special services via a foreign postal service.
It is claimed that the women were taken into custody.
They may face life imprisonment.
Note that, according to official data, since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, the region’s law enforcement agencies have recorded cases of abductions of 2027 people in occupied settlements.
