The occupation administration of Luhansk region has introduced restrictions on passenger transportation on roads leading toward the temporarily occupied parts of Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, as well as Crimea.

Thus, from June 6 regular and irregular passenger transportation is prohibited on certain sections of routes R-150 “Belgorod – Starobilsk – Luhansk – Donetsk – Mariupol” and R-280 “Novorossiya” (“Rostov-on-Don – Mariupol – Melitopol – Simferopol”).
The occupation administration cited “armed aggression by the Armed Forces of Ukraine” as the reason for the introduction of the restrictions.
Recall, at the end of May the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out a number of strikes on equipment of the occupying forces on the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region. In particular, the land corridor to Crimea came under strikes.
In connection with this, the occupation governor Volodymyr Saldo signed a decree on temporary restriction of freight traffic on route R-280 “Novorossiya”.
In addition, Saldo said that on the left bank of Kherson region they will create the “volunteer battalion” BARS “Kherson”, which is to engage in countering Ukrainian drones.
