In stores in the temporarily occupied Kakhovka and Nova Kakhovka, the assortment of food products is shrinking, and prices for essential goods continue to rise sharply.
This was reported by local residents of the left bank of the Kherson region.
According to local residents, some products have become two to three times more expensive. In particular, since July 13 the price of bread has increased almost twofold — to 90–120 rubles per loaf. Flour has risen from 45 to 80 rubles per kilogram, and sugar from 75 to 125 rubles.
“Sometimes bread is not delivered to stores at all. Then you can only buy the remains of yesterday’s. There are also far fewer canned goods — people are gradually buying those up,” said a resident of Kakhovka.
Bread supply disruptions are also being recorded in the Ivanivka settlement community of Henichesk district.
In particular, one store in the village of Shotivka informed customers about the absence of bread deliveries due to problems with its transportation. According to local residents, the owner of this shop openly supports the Russian occupation.
