A high-voltage power transmission line was damaged on the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region.
This was reported by the occupying governor of Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo.
According to him, due to the damage more than 330,000 people in 450 settlements were left without electricity.
The occupying authorities claim that at around 2:50 power supply was allegedly restored using a backup scheme, after which a phased reconnection of consumers began.
It is worth noting that recently the Russian government again promised to allocate over 1.5 billion rubles for power supply in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine. However, despite the occupying authorities of Kherson region’s statements about “stabilization of the energy system“, information about emergency or planned outages appears daily.
