On the temporarily occupied left bank of the Kherson region, occupying security services detained a 50-year-old resident of the Oleshky community and charged him with allegedly passing data to Ukrainian intelligence about the locations of Russian military personnel.
This was reported by Russia-controlled media.
According to the occupiers, the man “confessed” that since 2015 he had served in the “Azov” brigade, and after the start of the full-scale invasion began passing information to a former commander about Russian military personnel on the left bank of the Kherson region.
What exactly the detainee is being accused of — the occupation media do not report.
Recall that recently an illegal Kherson court sentenced to 12 years in a maximum-security penal colony on charges of espionage a resident of occupied Oleshky Mykola Holodnyi.
It is on the charge of “espionage” that the Russians most often prosecute illegally detained residents of occupied territories.
Earlier we wrote that during the nine months of 2025 the occupiers in the Kherson region abducted at least 25 local residents.
