In 2025, 643 cars were imported into Kherson region from abroad. This is the smallest figure among all regions of the country, even less than in Donetsk region, where 630 cars were brought.

The most popular make among imported cars in Ukraine was Volkswagen, and among models the Tesla Model Y was the most in demand.
However, in Kherson region the leader in car imports turned out to be the motor brand Spark. In other regions there were exceptions: in Odesa region the leader was BMW, in Chernihiv and Donetsk — Renault.
Overall, nearly half a million cars were brought into Ukraine in 2025, which is 17% more than in 2024, but one third less than before the start of the full-scale war.
The average age of imported cars is 9 years. Every fifth vehicle was registered in Kyiv. Every fourth car that crossed the border was electric, exceeding the number of imported diesel cars.
Recall, in 2024 Kherson region became second in the number of car thefts in Ukraine, coming in behind only Donetsk region.
