In the Velykooleksandrivska settlement territorial community, serviceman Oleksandr Sychov, who returned from Russian captivity, removed his portrait from the local Alley of Hope, where photographs of captured and missing Ukrainian fighters are displayed.

Oleksandr Sychov was born on December 3, 1990 in the village of Novopavlivka, where he finished school and later qualified as a seaman-welder. The serviceman was taken prisoner on January 6, 2025 while carrying out a combat mission on the Kursk direction.
Oleksandr returned home on April 24, 2026 as part of another prisoner exchange.
