In the Kherson region, women registered 1,142 new FOPs since the beginning of 2025.
This is evidenced by data from Opendatabot.
By the number of newly created female businesses, the Kherson region ranked only behind Luhansk Oblast, with Donetsk coming next in the ranking. Entrepreneurial women were most active in launching businesses in Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, and Kyiv Oblast.
Most often women start businesses in the retail trade — every third new FOP. Individual services, wholesale trade, education, and entrepreneurship in the food sector are also popular.
The beauty industry remains one of the most dynamic areas of women’s entrepreneurship.
Women also predominate among founders of businesses in the social sphere, education, medicine, consulting, and food production.
Note that, in Q3 2025 in the Kherson region IT specialists opened 101 FOPs – whereas in 2024 – 85.

Since the beginning of the year, Kherson entrepreneurs paid 300 million hryvnias in single tax to community budgets.
