Religious services in the Kherson region were banned on Easter and during memorial days.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration (OVA), Oleksandr Prokudin, following the meeting of the Regional Defense Council.
The ban is related to the deterioration of the security situation in the Kherson region.
“A decision was adopted to prohibit holding religious services in places of worship and on the adjacent territory during curfew, the blessing of offerings on the street, and visiting cemeteries, unless it concerns funeral processions”, – he said.
