On the right bank of Kherson region, matches of the first stage of the regional Football Cup were held for the first time since de-occupation.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
It is noted that teams from the Velyka Oleksandrivka, Vysokopillia and Novovorontsovka communities competed in the tournament. There were about 300 spectators in the stands.
First place was taken by the team of the Velyka Oleksandrivka community, which won two matches and collected the maximum 6 points.
Second place and a spot in the next stage of the Kherson Cup were claimed by the team from the Vysokopillia community, which earned 3 points.
The competition was organized with the support of the Football Association of Mykolaiv and Kherson regions, as well as local territorial communities.
