In Kherson Oblast, the list of populated areas subject to mandatory evacuation has been expanded.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
The reason for expanding the evacuation zone was the deterioration of the security situation in the Kherson, Novovorontsovska and Beryslav communities.
According to the Kherson Regional Military Administration, these territories suffer daily from Russian shelling, and the affected area continues to expand.
The following territories were added to the list of areas where mandatory evacuation is being carried out:
- settlements of the Khreshchenivskyi starostyn district;
- the village of Charyvne;
- the settlement of Zelenivka;
- the microdistrict “Textile” in Kherson;
- certain streets of the Central, Korablenyi and Dniprovskiy districts of the city.
In particular, these are Universytetska, Teatralna, Belaruska and Komunalna streets, as well as streets and lanes located toward the Koshova and Dnipro rivers.
In these areas, a ban on entry for families with children will also be in effect due to the threat to their lives.
