Residents of the Kherson region who raise children with disabilities in subgroup A will be able to receive a one-time cash assistance of 6,500 UAH.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted this decision.
It is noted that the payments are provided for nine frontline regions, including the Kherson region. In total, assistance is planned to be provided to about 9,000 children across Ukraine.
The lists of recipients are compiled based on data from the Unified information system of the social sphere. After verification, the Pension Fund will notify families about the accrual via “Diia” or other means of communication.
Funds will be credited to the bank accounts that already receive social payments. They can be used for any needs of the child.
At the same time, the payment is provided only for those families who did not receive assistance under the «Winter Support» program in the 2025/2026 season, according to the Ministry of Social Policy website.
