In the Kherson region, children whose parents were killed fighting for Ukraine’s independence, went missing, or are held in Russian captivity were congratulated on St. Nicholas Day.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Representatives of the structural units of the Kherson Regional State Administration and employees of the administrations of the region’s settlements decided to make the dreams of the young sons and daughters of the defenders come true and buy gifts for them.
The wishes of the region’s young residents were very varied — some asked for a football (soccer) ball or a bicycle, others requested various gadgets such as smartwatches or headphones, and the girls dreamed of cosmetic sets and book sets.
Specialists visited de-occupied right-bank communities to deliver the gifts. In total, nearly 400 children were congratulated on the holiday.
Recall that from the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region it was possible to return two boys — 10 and 11 years old.
