In the Kherson region, police evacuated an elderly couple from a coastal village whose house was destroyed as a result of an attack by Russian drones.
This was reported by the regional police.
The head of Havrylivka appealed to law enforcement for help. According to her, several enemy drones attacked the local residents’ house, as a result of which the dwelling was completely destroyed. A 60-year-old woman and her 62-year-old husband miraculously survived, but required medical examination. They spent the night after the shelling in another dwelling.
The evacuation was carried out by the crew of Police Unit No.1 (Novovorontsovka) of the Beryslav district department. Due to the constant threat of shelling and remote-detonated mines, the couple reached the designated place on their own, where they were met by police and taken to safer conditions.
The head also handed over bread to law enforcement for the residents who remain in the village.
