In the Kherson region, police evacuated four families with children from under shelling, among them a six-month-old baby.
The press service of the Kherson Regional Police reported this.
Among those evacuated were seven children. The youngest boy is only six months old, the oldest child is 13 years old. All the families lived in settlements of the Kherson city community that, due to constant Russian shelling, have been designated as a mandatory evacuation zone for families with children.
The evacuation took place under difficult conditions. People were transported by special vehicles, and in some cases volunteers helped. Due to enemy drone activity, some trips were carried out under the cover of mobile fire groups.
All evacuees were brought to the regional center. Some families will temporarily stay with relatives in safer districts, others rented housing.

As a reminder, from frontline Bilozerka a 38-year-old woman together with three children was evacuated — a 10-month-old daughter and sons aged 10 and 13.
