Individual entrepreneurs dominate the passenger transportation market in the Kherson region.
According to the analytical platform YC.Market, 87% of carriers in the region operate as individual entrepreneurs (FOP), while 13% are legal entities.
Across Ukraine, the share of FOP among passenger carriers is almost 84%, which indicates the dominance of this organizational and legal form in all regions of the country.
By regional distribution, the largest share of legal entities was recorded in Kyiv — 37.8%, as well as in Chernihiv (34.5%), Zaporizhzhia (28.7%) and Lviv (26.9%) regions. At the same time, in most regions of Ukraine the share of companies does not exceed 10–15%.
As a reminder, at the end of January Russian forces shelled a route bus with artillery in one of the districts of Kherson.
As a result of the shelling five people were injured. The driver was also killed.
