As of March, about 11300 children live in the de-occupied territory of the Kherson region, of them over 4300 – in Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin, in an interview with Ukrinform.
Overall, 135 thousand people live on the right bank of the region, of whom 60 thousand are in Kherson.
It was previously reported that the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, signed a law on the mandatory evacuation of residents, including children, from territories of active and possible hostilities.
