In the Beryslav region they want to create four new natural monuments of local significance.
The corresponding order was signed by the acting head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Butriy.
The administration approved the petition of the Department of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources to create protection zones on the kurgans. The total area of the new sites is slightly more than 0.8 ha.
These are the sites “Kurgan Tavanska Storozha” (0.25 ha), “Kurgan Shirbskyi Dozor” (0.21 ha), “Kurgan Dzhizil Velykyi” (0.237 ha) and “Kurgan Dzhizil Malyi” (0.11 ha).
At present, the Department of Environmental Protection must coordinate these petitions with the landowners and users of the plots where the kurgans are located.
Earlier the OVA approved a petition to create in the Kherson region a new nature reserve in honor of the Falz-Fein family.
