The Kherson Regional Military Administration has decided how funds from the state budget’s reserve fund will be spent and has also updated the three-year program for the development of the region’s roads.
The corresponding order was signed by the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.
In particular, a list of works to be financed from the state budget’s reserve fund was approved in accordance with the Cabinet of Ministers’ decision of June 4, 2026.
The list included only one project — the operational maintenance of the local road Border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — Zahradivka — Kochubeyivka — Davydiv Brid — Kalynivske — Bobrovyi Kut — Border of Mykolaiv Oblast.
On some sections of this road the pavement is almost non-existent, and in bad weather passage along it becomes significantly more difficult.
69.2 million UAH were allocated for the works. Of these, 62.3 million UAH will come from the state budget reserve fund, and a further 6.9 million UAH will be co-financed by the regional budget.
The executor was designated as the state institution “Local Roads of Kherson Region”.
In addition, after the amendments, the total budget of the region’s road development program amounts to 7.052 billion UAH.
Of this amount, 2.3 billion UAH are planned to be obtained from the state budget, 6.9 million UAH from the regional budget, and a further 4.7 billion UAH are expected to come from other sources. At the same time, the document does not specify which sources these are.
The largest amount of funds is planned for 2026 — 3.3 billion UAH.
Reconstruction, major and current repairs of bridges and overpasses became a separate direction in the program. 1.071 billion UAH were allocated for these works.
In particular, they plan to reconstruct the bridge near Zarichne, the bridge on the road Ivanivka — Orlove — Rivnopillia, the bridge over the Koshova River in Kherson, and the bridge near Kalynivske station.
The most expensive project is the reconstruction of the bridge over the Koshova River, for which 500 million UAH were allocated. Last year Russian aviation attacked this bridge several times with KABs, inflicting significant damage on it, but the bridge held.
Another 3.626 billion UAH are planned to be directed to the major repair of local roads. Among the largest projects are the roads Velyka Oleksandrivka — Nova Kamyanka, Ivanivka — Orlove — Rivnopillia, Starosillia — Velyka Oleksandrivka and Border of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast — Zahradivka — Kochubeyivka — Davydiv Brid — Kalynivske — Bobrovyi Kut.
Separately, almost 34.3 million UAH were allocated for the major repair of municipal roads in Velyka Oleksandrivka and Kherson.
