The so-called “Miss Kherson Region” Kateryna Popovchuk denies her belonging to the new elite in the TOT of Kherson region.
This was revealed in Popovchuk’s interview with pro-Russian media.
“They (MOST, – ed) talk there about the formation of some new Kherson elite of ours, to which I absolutely cannot relate either myself or my family. I have a completely average family. My parents have always worked, earned an honest living, and never led any kind of public life”, – Popovchuk noted.
She also claims that she bought her Mercedes-Benz with her salary, and propagandists add that “the car really does not represent anything supernatural — the same Mercedes-Benz C180 on the used car market on average costs up to one and a half million rubles”.
“Yes, the sum is significant, but affordable for the absolute majority of the region’s population”, – the article states.
