During the 2026-2027 heating season, heat will not be supplied to the Korabel neighborhood in Kherson.
This was reported on a TV broadcast by the head of the Kherson Military-Civil Administration, Yaroslav Shanko.
According to him, the city is currently preparing for the new heating season and modular boiler houses are being installed, but carrying out these works is complicated by Russian shelling.
“There will also be no heating this year in the Korabel neighborhood due to critical damage to gas networks, boiler houses and pipelines. The same situation is in Kindiyka and in the coastal areas”, – he said.
Recall, last year the Kherson CHP was shut down as a result of shelling, and it was also not possible to start the boiler house in the “Korabel” neighborhood due to significant damage to infrastructure that ran along the bridge over the Koshova River. This bridge has been repeatedly attacked by Russian aviation.
According to local authorities, last heating season was the most difficult since Ukraine’s independence.
