In Kherson Oblast and Kherson, a drop in air temperature and a deterioration of weather conditions are expected from December 25 to 27.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.
According to meteorologists’ forecast, on December 25–26 nighttime air temperatures will be 5–10 degrees below zero, daytime 0–5 degrees below zero.
On December 27 at night temperatures are expected to be 0–5 degrees below zero, during the day from 0 to +5 degrees.
Also on December 26–27, due to the movement of a cyclone, snow and wet snow are forecast, light snow sticking and icy conditions on the roads.
Such weather conditions may complicate the work of energy, utility, and construction enterprises, and may also lead to problems with traffic on roads and streets, the report says.
Recall that on December 4, as a result of systematic Russian shelling, the Kherson CHP ceased operation. It is impossible to predict the timeline for restoration due to the danger to repair crews.
According to the latest data from the Kherson Regional Military Administration, without heating in the city 10,000 subscribers remain. Heaters have already begun to be distributed to some.
