Investigators of the Security Service of Ukraine announced a new suspicion against Oleshky resident Yeva Harbera. To the charge of collaborationism, they added state treason under martial law.

In particular, the investigation established that since autumn 2022 Harbera voluntarily worked in the fake State Security Service of the Kherson region as an assistant to the head of the Security Service of Ukraine during Yanukovych’s presidency, Oleksandr Yakymenko.
The Russians awarded her the rank of junior lieutenant with a salary of 14,000 rubles.
Harbera ensured the operation of this body, which carried out repressions and filtration among civilians, and also helped guard local collaborators. For this, the occupiers awarded her a medal.
Earlier Harbera was suspected only of collaborationist activity (part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). However, law enforcement officers collected new evidence of subversive activities against Ukraine, which allowed adding charges of state treason to the case (part 2 of Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
Because of the added article on state treason, Harbera now faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.
