SBU investigators have announced suspicion against Alla Berdnikova, a resident of the village of Kachkarivka in the Kherson region, who helped the occupiers carry out an illegal referendum.
This is stated on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General.
According to law enforcement, in September 2022 Berdnikova agreed to take part in organizing a sham referendum in the village of Kachkarivka of the Mylivska community.
In particular, accompanied by Russian servicemen, she took part in door-to-door visits of local residents and urged villagers to take part in the so‑called vote.
For this, Berdnikova is suspected under Part 2 of Article 28 and Part 5 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine – collaborationist activity, that is,
participation in the organization and holding of an illegal referendum in a temporarily occupied territory, committed by prior conspiracy of a group of persons.
