Medical workers in the Kherson region will have the opportunity to obtain official housing near their workplace.
This was announced by Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko.
The state has allowed healthcare facilities in frontline regions to buy housing for medical workers not only in villages but also in cities located in the combat zone. This specifically includes Kherson and Kherson Oblast.
According to the new rules, housing for medical workers can be purchased with funds from the state budget in the settlement where their primary workplace is located, or in another settlement within up to 30 kilometers.
Official housing will be provided for the duration of the medical worker’s employment at the healthcare facility.
One hundred million hryvnias have been allocated in the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026 to implement the program.
