The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended additional financial support for medical institutions operating in areas of active hostilities until the end of 2026. The decision also applies to medical facilities in the Kherson region.
This was reported by the Ministry of Health.
The resolution provides for maintaining a special funding package for state and communal hospitals that provide specialized medical care in frontline communities.
Under the program, medical institutions will receive additional funds each month to pay bonuses to staff: 12,000 hryvnias for each doctor and 9,000 hryvnias for each mid-level and junior medical worker.
It was previously reported that Kherson medical workers received 43 million hryvnias in bonuses in May 2026 for working in the combat zone.
