The rail route “Kherson — Barvinkove” became one of the most popular in the first month of the “3000 km Across Ukraine” program, which provides the exchange of train kilometers for free tickets for passengers from frontline regions.
This was reported on Facebook by the Deputy Prime Minister for the Restoration of Ukraine — Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba.
At its first stage the program covers trains that run to and from frontline regions, including the Kherson region. It was used by families with children, elderly people, volunteers, families of servicemembers and other categories of passengers.
Overall, under the program Ukrainians traveled 38 million kilometers.
In addition to the route “Kherson — Barvinkove”, among the most popular routes of December were also named “Odesa — Zaporizhzhia”, “Sumy — Rakhiv” and “Zaporizhzhia — Kovel”.
