Athletes from Kherson region took part in the Ukrainian Athletics Championships for adults and youth, which took place in Lviv.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Military Administration.
Master of Sports of Ukraine Tetyana Nasonova won the bronze medal in the shot put (4 kg), and also finished seventh in the discus throw (1 kg).
Andriy Protsenko placed seventh in the high jump competition, clearing the bar at a height of 2.10 meters.
Mykyta Bragynets finished seventh in the hammer throw (7.26 kg), and among youth category athletes took third place.
The athletes were prepared for the competitions by coaches Hennadiy Zuiev, Iryna Novozhilova, Serhii Trykoz and Oleksandr Timolaiev.
