More than 50% of Kherson residents have suffered material losses due to damage to housing as a result of Russian shelling.
This is evidenced by the results of a sociological survey conducted on behalf of the Kherson City Community Foundation «Zakhyst».
In particular, 57% of respondents who are in the city reported that their own housing — a private house or an apartment — was damaged as a result of strikes and impacts.
In addition, 39% of surveyed Kherson residents reported damage to the apartment building or the yard where their dwelling is located, and another 29% — recorded the loss of other property (cars, dachas or outbuildings).
Note that according to official data of KhMVA, due to the war in the Kherson community more than 7,000 buildings have already been damaged.
