At the recommendation of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, the Order «For Merit» III degree was awarded to the correspondent of the media “Vhoru.Kherson”, Olena Hnitsetska.
This was reported by the head of the National Union of Journalists of Ukraine, Serhii Tomilenko.
“Olena Hnitsetska is one of the journalists who continued the information struggle during the Russian occupation of Kherson. Even in the most dangerous periods she maintained the ability to convey the truth about the situation in the city and to keep in touch with the audience. After the liberation of Kherson, Hnitsetska returned to work in the frontline region, despite daily threats, shelling and risks, including the constant activity of enemy drones”, – he wrote.
