The Novovorontsovka District Court of Kherson region has issued a new verdict against the former director of Novokakhovka Lyceum No. 10, Vyacheslav Reznikov.
This was reported in the relevant court verdict.
The investigation found that in April 2023 Reznikov headed the illegal Novokakhovka territorial election commission. In that position he formed precinct election commissions, coordinated their work, and organized the holding of illegal elections for the President of the Russian Federation in March 2024.
For this he was sentenced to 11 years and 6 months of imprisonment, combined with previous sentences.
This is already the third verdict against Vyacheslav Reznikov. He had previously been convicted in absentia in November 2024 and August 2025 for other episodes of collaborationist activity.
In addition to imprisonment, the court deprived Reznikov of the right to hold positions in state authorities, local self-government, and the education sector for 15 years, and also ordered the confiscation of all property belonging to him.
Recall that in the summer of 2022 it became known that the director of Novokakhovka Lyceum No. 10, Vyacheslav Reznikov, who had earlier been kidnapped by Russians, had sided with the occupiers. He was appointed head of the illegal Department of Education of Nova Kakhovka.
Under his leadership, the occupiers tried to convert the community’s schools to Russian education standards. Representatives of the “department of education” called teachers, offered salaries in rubles, demanded that they work according to Russian curricula and warned that teaching using Ukrainian distance-learning programs would be prohibited. If schools lacked enough teachers, the occupation authorities threatened to close them.
