The Uzhhorod City District Court handed down a sentence to former Kherson colony employee Viktoriya Negar, who collaborated with the occupiers.

As the investigation established, in the summer of 2022 Negar took the position of senior inspector of the organizational-analytical group “Northern Correctional Colony No. 90 in Kherson, which at that time was under the control of the occupying forces.
On the eve of the de-occupation of the right bank of Kherson region she left together with the colony’s occupation leadership for Henichesk.
According to witnesses interviewed in court, before the occupation Viktoriya Negar worked in the colony as a senior inspector of the organizational-analytical department. After the takeover of the institution, she was involved in implementing document circulation and received a salary for this in Russian rubles.
Having examined the evidence, the court in absentia found her guilty of collaborationist activity (Part 7 of Article 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
She was sentenced to 12 years in prison with confiscation of all property.
