The occupation authorities and collaborators are using stolen exhibits from the Kherson Regional Local History Museum for propaganda events in temporarily occupied Henichesk.
This was posted on the museum’s page.
In the published photos from a meeting attended by collaborators Tetyana Kuzmich, Olena and Hennadiy Shelestenkiv, and Vyacheslav Hromykhin, museum relics have been identified that were illegally taken from Kherson in the fall of 2022.

In particular, among the items that became the “decor” of the event, unique exhibits from the museum’s permanent exhibition were identified: the greatcoat and personal belongings of General Oleksandr Dorofeyev, a set of items belonging to sailors of the Danube Military Flotilla, the order bars of Vasyl Margelov and the personal belongings of Zakhariy Vidryhan.

The affiliation of these items with the Museum Fund of Ukraine is confirmed by archival photos with inventory numbers, taken in the halls of the Kherson Regional Local History Museum before the start of the full-scale invasion.
The use of stolen cultural valuables is direct evidence of a war crime and a violation of the 1954 Hague Convention. Documentation of the facts of looting is currently underway to bring all persons involved to justice in international courts, the post says.
Earlier we wrote that the occupation authorities confirmed the presence of the stolen Kherson collections in Crimea’s storage facilities.
