Athletes from Kherson children’s and youth physical training clubs No. 4 and No. 5 won 11 awards at the All-Ukrainian Open “Commonwealth Cup” in contact karate.

In the overall standings, athletes from the Kherson community won 11 medals: 4 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze.
The competitions were held in the kyokushin-kumite, full-contact (WSF) and point-kumite divisions.
The Kherson athletes were prepared for the competitions by coaches Mykhailo Chernov and Oleksandr Platov.
Earlier it was reported that an athlete from the Chornobaiv community, Mykola Vakhirovskyi won a bronze medal at the Ukrainian Weightlifting Championship among boys and girls under 13 years old.
