Young researchers of the Kherson community won 59 prize-winning places at the regional stage of the All-Ukrainian competition-defense of scientific research works of the Junior Academy of Sciences (MAN). The competition took place in February 2026 in a remote format.

From the community, 44 winners of the city stage and 15 students of the communal institution «Small Academy of Sciences» for student youth took part in the competition. Based on the results of the defenses, the students won 21 first places, 18 second places and 20 third places.
The winners were representatives of schools No.1, 9, 15, 20, 30, 31, 36, 47, 48, 51, 52, 53, 55, 56, 57, as well as the Academic Lyceum, the Physico-Technical Lyceum and the Center for Scientific and Technical Creativity of Student Youth.
Based on the results of the performances, 20 schoolchildren of Kherson were included in the regional team to participate in the final III (All-Ukrainian) stage of the competition.
