A pupil of Kherson School No. 55 and a trainee of the children’s and youth sports school «Ukraine» of the Kherson City Council, Maria Bielenka, became the winner of the All-Ukrainian tennis tournament Ferrum Cup 14.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson MVA.
The competition belongs to the national tournaments of category A of the Tennis Federation of Ukraine. Based on the match results, Maria took first place in the singles among athletes in the under-14 age category.
Ferrum Cup 14 brought together young tennis players from different regions of Ukraine and is one of the ranking tournaments in its age division.
Earlier it was reported that a pupil of the sports ballroom dance studio of Kherson Educational Complex No. 48 Eva Kryvenko won first place at the All-Ukrainian sports ballroom dance festival ESTADES OPEN CUP, which took place in Poltava.
