If Kherson did not have the counter-drone defense that it has now, the city would already have become “a gray zone”.
The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, said this in an article in The Guardian.
According to him, no other major city in Ukraine lives under the same conditions as Kherson.
“The city is located just one kilometer from the front line and from the enemy. If we did not have the counter-drone defense that we have now, Kherson would already definitely be “a gray zone”. Instead, only the islands on the river remain a gray zone”, – said the official.
According to the head of the OVA, more than 100 kilometers of nets have already been installed in the region. Over the next two months expansion to 200 kilometers is planned, and by the end of the year — to 300 kilometers.
Earlier it was reported that about 95% of drones launched at the Kherson community, are being suppressed or destroyed.
