Multi-storey residential buildings in the ‘red zone’ at the corner of Chornomorska and Perekopska streets were damaged as a result of shelling by the Russian army.
Some apartments burned out completely — the facades are blackened by fires. Windows in many homes are blown out or boarded up with plywood, and balconies and exterior walls are also destroyed.

According to the latest data, in the right-bank part of Kherson region Russian shelling has damaged or destroyed nearly 33,000 private and 1,500 multi-apartment buildings. Some of the buildings have been damaged repeatedly.
