Law enforcement officers and volunteers evacuated a woman with two daughters from the village of Bilozerka in the Kherson region. She was the last family with children in the settlement.
This was reported by the Kherson Regional Police.
At first the family was taken to a transit center, where they received necessary assistance and were able to rest after leaving. Later, volunteers transported the woman and the children to one of the settlements in Kherson district where the family has housing.
“The woman decided to leave in order to preserve the lives of her one-and-a-half-year-old and nine-year-old daughters”, – the report said.
Earlier police evacuated a mother with a four-year-old son from the frontline Novovorontsovska community.
