From dangerous settlements in the Kherson region, police together with volunteers evacuated nine people, including four children.
This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional Police.
Recently, juvenile prevention officers together with volunteers carried out several evacuation runs from two settlements of the Kherson city community and the village of Bilozerka. In total they were able to evacuate five adults and children aged 7 to 16 years.
One of the departures took place from an especially dangerous area that is constantly under artillery fire and drone attacks. From there, under cover of a mobile fire group, they evacuated an elderly woman, her daughter, and a 7-year-old child.
At present, according to the police, there are no children left in that settlement.
Some of the evacuees stayed in relatively safe areas of Kherson, while others traveled to neighboring regions.
As a reminder, in the Beryslav district police evacuated a 4-year-old child from a dangerous area who required urgent medical assistance.
