After a strike by a Ukrainian kamikaze drone, the road bridge over the North Crimean Canal sustained serious damage and currently does not require a repeat strike.
This was reported by Dmytro Filatov, commander of the First Separate Assault Regiment named after Dmytro Kotsyubailo.
“The Armyanskyi bridge was damaged. The extent of the damage is quite high, and it does not require a repeat strike”, – the serviceman said.
Filatov also clarified that the strike on the bridge was carried out by an aircraft-type kamikaze drone, the “FirePoint-1”.
In addition, according to Dmytro Filatov, the idea to strike this particular bridge was provided to the Ukrainian military by the commander of one of the brigades of the Russian Armed Forces.
