After the shutdown of the CHP the Kherson OVA is considering the possibility of additionally equipping heating points in the premises of the simplest shelters in Kherson.
This was reported by the head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin.
“We are currently working on inspecting the shelters and the possible outfitting with diesel-powered heat guns”, – he said.
The OVA also said that they have agreements with the team of “Naftogaz” regarding the purchase of inverters.
“In addition, we are involving our international partners to provide Kherson residents with electric or gas heaters”, – noted Prokudin.
Recall that as a result of another Russian shelling the Kherson CHP stopped operating on the morning of December 4. Currently 470 buildings remain without centralized heating – that is more than 40.5 thousand subscribers. The city authorities are considering alternative heating options for those homes that were previously connected to the CHP.
The head of the Kherson OVA, Oleksandr Prokudin, said that due to constant shelling the restoration of the CHP cannot be predicted.
