Law enforcement officers have notified Kherson resident Petro Voznytsia of suspicion that, during the temporary occupation of the city, he aided representatives of the Russian Federation in establishing control over one of the local enterprises and ensured its operation under the management of the occupation administration.
This is reported on the website of the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
As stated in the case materials, during the period of the temporary occupation of Kherson and part of the region, on July 29, 2022, the man, being on the territory of LLC «Mobile Mechanized Column No. 19», acted in execution of a decision of the occupying administration of the Russian Federation. This concerns an order titled «On the introduction of a temporary administration», by which a so-called temporary administration for the management of the enterprise’s property was introduced.
According to law enforcement, a Russian company from Rostov-on-Don — «Trading and Financial Company “Treydivest”» — was illegally involved in the management of LLC «PMK-19»’s property, and a citizen of the Russian Federation was appointed as head of the temporary administration.
The investigation believes that the suspect, having secured the support of Russian servicemen, facilitated the establishment of control over the enterprise’s territory.
Subsequently, from July 29 to November 11, 2022, he helped representatives of the aggressor state restore the company’s operations, urged employees to return to performing their duties, continued to work in the status of the so-called head of the security service, and provided representatives of the Russian Federation with access to the enterprise’s premises.
Thus, Petro Voznytsia is suspected of committing a criminal offense provided for in part 1 of Article 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — aiding the aggressor state.
Earlier we wrote that a resident of Tarasivka in the Kherson region Nataliya Snihur was notified of suspicion of voluntarily joining illegal authorities, created by Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied territory of the Oleshky district.
