A pupil of Kherson Children’s and Youth Physical Training Club No. 5, Mykyta Furik, became a medalist at a jiu-jitsu competition in Khmelnytskyi.
This was reported by the Department of Education of the Kherson City Council.
Athletes from various regions of Ukraine took part in the tournament. Kherson was represented at the competition by Mykyta Furik, who competed in the 17+ age category in the weight class up to 77 kg.
Following the matches, the athlete finished in second place.
Mykyta is coached by Yehor Lebid.
Recall, a tennis player from Kherson region entered the top ten at the Dnipropetrovsk Championship.
