On January 30, 2026, as a result of shelling in Kherson, one of the bakeries was significantly damaged. The premises sustained damage and was left without electricity. However, according to the business owner, he did not receive assistance from the city authorities.
The owner of the establishment, Oleksandr Vlasov, reported this on his Facebook page.
He noted that on the day of the strike he contacted the Kherson Military-Civil Administration hotline, where he was advised to send an official letter by email. According to him, the request was sent the same day, but so far no one has contacted him.
On February 17 he sent an information request and the next day received a reply that the administration could not provide assistance. He was also given the contact of a municipal enterprise where, according to him, they offered a garbage container for a fee.
In his post the entrepreneur states that immediately after the shelling he needed transport to remove expensive equipment, help with temporarily boarding up the broken windows, and the installation of a container to clean up the consequences of the destruction.
Note, this concerns the bakery on Universytetska Street; at that time it was completely destroyed as a result of the strike.
